In helping to provide transportation and support for his brother who was undergoing hemodialysis treatment, Juan McLemore witnessed firsthand the need for reliable, timely, and cost-effective assisted transportation. Sadly, Juan's brother passed away, but not before the seed of opportunity was planted to help many others through the support services of iTransport.

A servant leader by nature, Juan retired after 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. During his many years of committed service, Juan gained invaluable education, leadership, and team-building skills and experience that continue to yield benefit for iTransport, our area’s premier door-through-door assisted transportation service.

As the elderly population continues to increase in size and need of support services, iTransport is dedicated to providing more personal and timely transportation solutions. Unlike other services operating as a curb-to-curb service, iTransport is committed to safely escorting patients and residents from their residence or facility to a clean, comfortable, and modern wheelchair accessible vehicle. On arrival at their appointment, our trained staff will escort clients to check-in.

We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.

Dispatchers receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:

Customer intake
Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
Effective driver management and scheduling
Trip management and oversight
Coordination with facility personnel
